What is the best moisturiser for dry/sensitive skin? Is Clinique 3-Step worth trying?

I have pale, dry skin that is quite easily irritated and gets the occasional blemish. Can anyone recommend a good product for me? Is the Clinique 3-step system worth trying? Thanks.|||Nivea creme or E45

I'm the same with skin and i swap between these two|||Try Oilatum cream. This was prescribed for me by the GP when I had a couple of eczema patches and it cleared up the dry skin in no time. If it is suitable for eczema, it is suitable for sensitive skin.

It is a great moisturiser, non-perfumed, it soaks into the skin very quickly and it works.

It is also low priced and lasts a long time, because you use only a little at a time.

Oilatum cream, in tubes, can be bought in most chemists - certainly Boots and Superdrug.

If you are looking for a gentle but effective cleanser, try Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - this comprises a smooth-on cream and a wash off muslin cloth. This product is one of the best selling cleansers on the market, so millions of people can't be wrong.

It is mail order only - the address is on Google, or it can be bought online - again, the price is very reasonable and Liz Earle products are very gentle, made from natural/plant sources and are suitable for sensitive skin. She also sells a range of toners for different skin types.
