I really want the clinique 3 step system, but it is just too expensive to get everything. Which of the steps is the least important? and which product can i replace it with?|||I only use the Clinique moisturizer and makeup because I have sensitive eyes and need gentle products.
I use a gentle facial clenser (dove sensitive) and no toner ( I think toner dries my skin too much). You can use plain witch hazel for a cheap toner if you want to.|||First off you need to know what skin type you have. Then you can go to some place like Wal-Mart and find a good foaming facial cleanser made for your skin type, then either a good toner or astringent to use after that with a cotton pad to remove any excess that the cleanser does not remove. I know I have used Suave facial toner and find it to be inexpensive and a good product. Then you need to get a night time moisturizer made for your skin type and a day time moisturizer made for your skin type to go under your make up for the day time. Oil of Olay, Suave, Cetiphil are some good products at places like Wal-Mart.|||All of them! I used to use Clinique but got sick of paying the prices, and the toner I had contained so much drying alcohol it took nail polish off! Soooo bad.
Now i use Virgin Vie because you're paying only for the top quality ingredients and not the massive ad campaigns and shop premises (they're internet based.) They have a great regime for any skin type so take a look- every item is returnable if it doesn't suit which is a real plus. Everything has such great reviews though and my skins never looked better!!
I also use their skin care on all my clients

I swapped it for "Simple" products! I use the Simple Foaming Facial Wash (this is replacement for the 1st two steps!) and the Simple Moisturiser works a treat straight after using the facial wash. They also do a toner which I don't find necessary but you may wish to try.|||thats exactly how i feel.but the toner is the least important.because you have to cleanse and moisturize your skin.but you really dont have to tone it.and you can replace it with the Netrogena toner.you dont even have to use a toner if you dont feel like it(: your choice.|||the three things you need are a cleanser, toner, and exfoliator. make sure these are all oil free/ non-comedogenic. if you have dry skin you would need a moisturizer too.
but try the biore line! i am soo happy with the results. i have acne prone skin and the pore un-clogging scrub has really made a difference! i hope you give biore a try! you can get it at wall mart or any drugstore.|||It's not even that good to be honest with you. You'd be better off with a nice face wash like Body Shop Vitamin E, an eye cream and moisturiser! I use Body Shop Vitamin E range, tried Clinique it was rubbish.
